Join Aurora Brand Studio in the heart of New York as Brand Designer and Strategy Lead. You will shape and elevate client identities, blending design excellence with strategic storytelling for premium brands.
This role requires a visual designer who can articulate brand value, build scalable systems, and collaborate with product, marketing, and creative teams to deliver exceptional brand experiences.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end brand identity projects from concept to completion, ensuring consistency across digital and print touchpoints.
- Develop and articulate brand strategy, positioning, and storytelling that resonates with target audiences.
- Design comprehensive visual identities, including logos, typography, color systems, and style guides.
- Create, maintain, and evolve scalable design systems, component libraries, and UI patterns for products and marketing sites.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, copywriters, and developers to ensure brand integrity across channels.
- Present concepts to clients and internal stakeholders, translating feedback into refined design iterations.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the Studio design practice.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in brand design or brand strategy, with a strong portfolio of identity work.
- Proven ability to translate brand strategy into visual language and design systems.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and motion design basics.
- Strong typographic sensibility and a keen eye for color, composition, and hierarchy.
- Experience developing brand guidelines, design systems, and asset libraries.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable articulating concepts to non design stakeholders.
- Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Branding, Communications, or a related field.
- Bonus: experience with brand journalism, packaging, and experiential branding.
