Lumina Studio is a premium branding agency based in New York City, crafting distinctive identities for ambitious brands across technology, lifestyle, and consumer categories. We are seeking a Senior Brand Designer who can elevate our clients' visual language from concept to scalable systems.
In this role, you’ll partner with strategy and product teams to shape brand narratives, apply rigorous brand systems, and deliver consistent experiences across packaging, digital, and physical touchpoints. You’ll lead design explorations, mentor junior designers, and help shape our studio's creative direction.

Responsibility
- Lead the development of comprehensive brand systems, including identity, typography, color, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and creative teams to translate strategy into visual language.
- Design on-brand collateral across packaging, digital experiences, and physical environments.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to elevate team output.
- Audit and refine client brand assets to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Present concepts to clients and stakeholders with clarity and strategic rationale.
- Contribute to creative direction and maintain high-quality design standards across projects.
Qualification
- 5+ years of branding/identity design experience with a strong, diverse portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; strong typographic sensibility.
- Experience building and maintaining brand systems, guidelines, and design tokens.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of motion design or packaging design is a plus.
