Job description
North Peak Branding is seeking a Senior Brand Designer to join our New York City studio. You will lead end-to-end brand identity projects for world-class clients, collaborating with strategists, copywriters, and product teams to translate brand strategy into compelling visual systems.
In this role, you will own the creative direction of brand identities, establish scalable design systems, and ensure consistency across all touchpoints—from logos and typography to packaging and digital assets.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end brand identity projects from discovery through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategy and business goals.
- Collaborate with Brand Strategy and Creative Directors to translate brand narratives into visual systems, type scales, color palettes, and assets.
- Design logos, identity systems, packaging, and digital assets for multi-channel campaigns.
- Develop and maintain design systems, libraries, and brand guidelines to enable scalable execution across teams.
- Present concepts to clients and internal stakeholders, articulating design thinking and rationale.
- Mentor junior designers, provide constructive feedback, and cultivate a culture of excellence and creativity.
- Partner with product and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency across platforms and touchpoints.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional branding or identity design experience, preferably with agency or studio background.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand systems, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and brand guidelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Branding, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
