Job description

We are seeking a senior Branding Manager who will lead our brand strategy and identity across channels. At Lumen Brand Studio, you will shape premium brand experiences for clients and own ongoing brand governance. This is a full-time role based in New York City.

As a Brand Lead, you will partner with product, marketing, and design teams to craft cohesive brand systems, guide creative direction, and ensure consistency across touchpoints from digital to physical. You will own brand voice, messaging framework, and visual identity, while championing a culture of experimentation and data-driven storytelling.

Responsibility

  • Lead development of comprehensive brand strategy and positioning for multiple client brands.
  • Define and maintain visual identity systems, including logo usage, typography, color palette, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and design teams to translate brand strategy into campaigns, products, and experiences.
  • Oversee brand governance, asset management, and version control across channels.
  • Drive brand activation, content strategy, and storytelling across digital, social, and offline channels.
  • Mentor and lead a small branding team, fostering growth and high-quality output.
  • Analyze market and competitive trends to inform strategic decisions and messaging.

Qualification

  • 6+ years of branding or brand strategy experience, with a proven portfolio of brand systems and campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong command of visual design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and design thinking.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills with ability to distill complex concepts.
