Responsibility
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the agribusiness value chain, focusing on farmers, cooperatives, distributors, and ag retailers.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships and channel programs to drive revenue growth.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations to design scalable GTM initiatives and pilots.
- Forecast, track, and report on revenue, pipeline, and KPIs to leadership.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and service level agreements with key customers and partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer visits to expand brand presence.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in agribusiness, agri-food tech, or related sales/business development roles.
- Proven track record of revenue growth and successful partnerships in farming or agricultural supply chains.
- Strong knowledge of farming supply chains, crop cycles, commodity markets, and sustainability considerations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to travel regionally up to 40% and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
