Join a premier agribusiness leader dedicated to sustainable farming, processing, and distribution across the U.S. We are seeking a results-driven Senior Agribusiness Operations Manager to optimize end-to-end supply chains, elevate farm efficiency, and drive profitable growth.
Based in Salinas, California, you will partner with farmers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to scale operations while upholding the highest standards of food safety and sustainability.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end agribusiness operations, including procurement, production planning, logistics, and distribution to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery of products.
- Optimize farm-to-market supply chain networks, implement lean processes, and drive continuous improvement across facilities.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and KPIs; provide actionable insights to executives.
- Ensure compliance with FSMA, HACCP, GMP, and all applicable food safety and regulatory standards; oversee audits.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, performance metrics, and risk management.
- Champion data-driven decision making by implementing ERP/SCM analytics and reporting dashboards.
- Lead sustainability initiatives, traceability, and ESG metrics; collaborate with R&D and product teams to meet customer specs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s preferred
- 5+ years of experience in agribusiness operations, processing, or supply chain leadership
- Strong knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
- Proven experience with ERP/SCM systems; data-driven decision making
- Excellent vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship skills
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration
- Willingness to travel up to 15-20% as needed
