GreenHarvest AgriTech is seeking a results-driven Senior Agribusiness Data Analyst to join our team in Fresno, CA. This role blends advanced data analytics with agronomic insight to optimize crop production, supply chain efficiency, and profitability for our farmer partners and internal stakeholders. You will leverage cutting-edge analytics, GIS, and machine learning techniques to translate data into actionable recommendations.
In this role you will collaborate with agronomists, product teams, and logistics to drive measurable outcomes across cultivation, processing, and distribution.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain data models and dashboards that reveal yield drivers, cost-to-serve, and risk factors across the value chain.
- Partner with field teams and growers to collect, clean, and validate agronomic and logistics data.
- Perform advanced analytics (statistics, ML) to forecast yields, demand, and inventory needs.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize irrigation, fertilization, and crop protection strategies.
- Analyze supply chain workflows to reduce waste, shorten cycle times, and improve on-time delivery.
- Present insights to executives and cross-functional teams with clear storytelling and actionable plans.
- Own data governance, quality assurance, and documentation standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a data-centric culture across the organization.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of analytics experience in agribusiness, farming operations, or agtech.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with GIS, remote sensing, or precision agriculture data is a plus.
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for farmers and executives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to tell a compelling data story.
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts, crop production cycles, and regulatory considerations.
- Work location: Fresno area with occasional travel to partner farms and facilities.
