Responsibility
- Operate as Captain for assigned wide-body or narrow-body routes, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations.
- Lead pre-flight planning, weather analysis, fuel planning, and contingency management with the flight crew and ground staff.
- Manage crew resources and CRM, mentor First Officers and junior pilots, and uphold a culture of safety and professionalism.
- Authorize start, taxi, takeoff, en-route decisions, and landing in accordance with regulations and airline procedures.
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations control to optimize schedules, delays, and operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety management systems.
- Represent the airline in a professional manner with customers, regulators, and industry partners.
Qualification
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or valid EASA/ICAO equivalent; type rating on applicable fleet.
- Minimum 5,000 total flight hours with at least 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on multi-engine jet aircraft.
- Proven leadership and crew resource management experience; ability to mentor and develop junior pilots.
- Strong IFR and RNAV, performance-based navigation skills; proficient in modern flight deck automation.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Current valid medical certificate and ability to pass security and background checks; willingness to travel internationally.
