As Pilot in Command, you will maintain the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance while mentoring First Officers and developing a culture of crew resource management.
Location: Seattle, WA with occasional international duty rotations. Relocation assistance provided for qualified candidates.
Responsibility
- Operate as Pilot in Command (PIC) on assigned routes in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and supervise flight crews, ensuring effective CRM and safety protocols.
- Plan flight operations, including weather assessment, fuel planning, performance calculations, and MEL compliance.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory, and company safety standards; oversee risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Coordinate with Dispatch, ATC, and ground teams to optimize schedules and on-time performance.
- Participate in training, simulator sessions, and performance evaluations; mentor First Officers and cadets.
- Review and approve weather, NOTAMs, and maintenance issues affecting flight operations.
- Represent the airline with professionalism in all customer and regulatory interactions.
Qualification
- FAA ATP certificate required (or foreign equivalent with validation) with multi-engine endorsement.
- 5+ years of PIC experience in multi-engine jet aircraft; 3,000+ total flight hours preferred.
- Type rating on a Boeing 737, Airbus A320, or equivalent is preferred; current medical certificate and flight review.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and CRM skills; ability to manage high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service orientation.
- Willingness to relocate or commute to Seattle; ability to work flexible hours and international rotations.
- Proficiency with flight planning software, CRM tools, and aviation safety systems.
