Job description

Northpoint Skyways is seeking an experienced Captain to join our Seattle-based flight operations. This role leads multi-crew flight operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and outstanding service. As Captain, you will be accountable for flight safety, adherence to SOPs, regulatory compliance, crew leadership, and delivering exceptional passenger experience on every flight. You will collaborate closely with the Dispatch and Maintenance teams to ensure mission readiness and reliability.

Responsibility

  • Lead multi-crew flight operations as Pilot-in-Command, ensuring safe and compliant flight execution in accordance with FAA regulations and company SOPs.
  • Provide effective leadership, CRM, and decision-making to optimize crew performance and passenger safety.
  • Oversee preflight planning, risk assessment, fuel planning, MEL considerations, and weather analysis.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, ATC, and ground crews to ensure mission readiness and timely departures.
  • Mentor and develop junior pilots, conduct line checks, and participate in ongoing training.
  • Ensure accurate flight records, post-flight briefings, debriefs, and incident reporting in alignment with policy.
  • Support safety culture initiatives and participate in incident investigations as required.

Qualification

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or foreign equivalent with U.S. work authorization.
  • Type rating on applicable jet (e.g., Boeing 737, Airbus A320) preferred.
  • 5,000+ total flight hours; 1,500+ hours as PIC on multi-engine jet aircraft.
  • Current First Class US FAA medical certificate and instrument rating (IR).
  • Recent flight experience within the last 12 months; capability to pass an annual recurrent training and checks.
  • Strong CRM, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the United States and to travel as required.
