NovaWing Airlines is expanding our Seattle-based fleet and seeking an experienced Captain Pilot to lead our flight operations on domestic and international routes.

As a Captain, you will be entrusted with operational leadership, crew mentorship, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and service across all phases of flight. You will collaborate with dispatch, air traffic control, and maintenance teams to deliver safe, reliable, and on-time performance.

Responsibility

  • Lead flight crews in the safe, compliant operation of all assigned routes, ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, including weather analysis, weight and balance, fuel planning, and performance calculations.
  • Manage in-flight decision making, troubleshooting, and communication with ATC, dispatch, and maintenance to optimize safety and efficiency.
  • Mentor and supervise First Officers and junior pilots, promoting crew resource management and professional development.
  • Drive safety improvement initiatives, participate in incident investigations, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Represent the airline with professionalism in customer interactions and maintain leadership in crew welfare and operational discipline.
  • Oversee post-flight debriefs, logging, and reporting to ensure compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Qualification

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or equivalent international license; current medical certificate (First Class).
  • Minimum of 4,000 total flight hours with at least 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command on transport-category aircraft; jet-type rating strongly preferred.
  • Type rating on a transport-category aircraft (e.g., Boeing 737, Airbus A320) strongly preferred.
  • Proven IFR proficiency, excellent decision-making, and strong CRM skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, leadership, and a commitment to safety culture.
  • Proficiency with modern flight planning tools, EFBs, and aviation software; able to adapt to new technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; willingness to relocate to Seattle, WA if not local.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
