Ascend Career Partners is seeking a results-driven Career Consultant to empower professionals to achieve their next milestone. This role blends coaching, strategy, and market insight to guide clients from exploration to opportunity.
In this position, you will partner with individuals across industries to design personalized career roadmaps, enhance branding, and execute job-search strategies that deliver measurable outcomes.
Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to understand client goals, strengths, and limitations.
- Develop customized career roadmaps with clear milestones and timelines.
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions, including resume optimization, LinkedIn profile enhancement, and interview preparation.
- Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to advise clients on realistic opportunities.
- Coach clients on networking strategies, outreach messaging, and interview techniques.
- Maintain accurate client records in our CRM and track progress against KPIs.
- Collaborate with the business development team to source opportunities and build relationships with employers.
- Celebrate client wins, adjust plans as needed, and ensure a high-touch coaching experience.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Psychology, HR, or Education) or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional career coaching, counseling, or recruitment experience.
- Proven success coaching clients through career transitions and job searches.
- Strong resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and interview coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening abilities.
- Familiarity with ATS, CRM tools, and job-market research methods.
- Coaching certification (e.g., CPC, CDF) or equivalent credential is a plus.
