Momentum Career Advisory is seeking a highly skilled Career Consultant to join our NYC-based team. This role partners with professionals across industries to diagnose career goals, design strategic roadmaps, and execute action plans that accelerate growth and job-market success. You will blend coaching psychology, market intelligence, and practical resume and interview tactics to deliver measurable client outcomes.
In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their aspirations, craft customized career plans, and provide ongoing coaching that helps them land roles aligned with their strengths.

Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth client discovery sessions to uncover career objectives, strengths, and market opportunities.
- Develop tailored career roadmaps including resume optimization, LinkedIn branding, and targeted job-search strategies.
- Lead one-on-one coaching sessions focused on interview preparation, negotiation, and career progression.
- Create and deliver engaging workshops on career planning, networking, and personal branding.
- Collaborate with clients to set measurable milestones and track progress with quarterly reviews.
- Leverage data-driven insights to tailor guidance across industries, functions, and seniority levels.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment trends, ATS processes, and hiring practices.
- Represent the firm at client-facing events and contribute to thought leadership content.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, business, or related field; master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in career coaching, talent development, or human resources with demonstrated outcomes.
- Strong executive presence with excellent listening, questioning, and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to design and deliver high-impact coaching programs and workshops.
- Proficiency with resume optimization, LinkedIn strategy, and job-search analytics.
- Experience with CRM tools and scheduling/coaching platforms; comfort with data-driven metrics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-centric environment; willingness to travel as needed.
