As a Career Consultant in New York, you will: mentor clients, conduct needs assessments, and deliver strategic coaching sessions that drive tangible career results. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to build scalable programs and leverage data-driven methods to maximize client success.
Responsibility
- Design and deliver personalized career plans for clients, including goals, timelines, and success metrics.
- Conduct intake assessments and skills-gap analyses to tailor coaching sessions and development plans.
- Provide expert guidance on resume and LinkedIn optimization, cover letters, and personal branding.
- Lead interview preparation sessions, including mock interviews and structured feedback.
- Deliver group workshops and webinars on career strategy, networking, and job-search best practices.
- Track client progress, measure outcomes, and adjust programs to ensure measurable advancement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop scalable coaching programs and resources.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, business, HR, or a related field; coaching certification preferred (e.g., ICF).
- 3-5 years of professional coaching, talent development, or career consulting experience.
- Proven track record of helping clients secure roles or advance to higher levels.
- Strong interviewing, assessment, and feedback skills; excellent listening and communication abilities.
- Experience with resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and personal branding.
- Comfort with data-driven coaching, metrics, and outcome reporting.
- Ability to manage a diverse client base, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical guidelines.
