Job description

ADM Global Ocean Freight (GOF) is a core value-creating function at the heart of our global trading platform. Based in Singapore, the Chartering Manager will lead end-to-end vessel chartering activities across multiple routes and cargoes, ensuring optimal fleet utilization, service reliability, and cost efficiency. You will partner with traders, operations, risk management, and legal teams to execute chartering strategies that unlock value while maintaining rigorous compliance and safety standards.

In this role, you will develop and execute chartering strategies that align with ADM GOF's trading activities, negotiate charter party agreements with shipowners and brokers, and optimize fleet utilization and routing to meet customer needs. You will monitor market dynamics, freight-rate trends, vessel availability, and counterparty risk, translating market insights into practical sourcing decisions. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with commercial, operations, and risk teams to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective cargo movements. The position offers significant exposure to the end-to-end lifecycle of ocean freight and opportunities to drive efficiency, digitalization, and best-practice processes across the network.

ADM provides a dynamic, global environment, competitive compensation, and clear paths for career development. If you are a proactive, analytical leader who thrives in a fast-paced trading setting and wants to contribute to a world-class GOF platform, we would like to speak with you.
