NovaMind Behavioral Health is a premier psychology practice in New York City dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to adults and couples. We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our growing outpatient team.
In this full-time role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual therapy using evidence-based modalities. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal patient outcomes and contribute to program development and clinical research.

Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic formulations for adults presenting with a range of concerns.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy (CBT, ACT, IPT, DBT, psychodynamic approaches) to individuals and couples as appropriate.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and outcomes.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and researchers in a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic; participate in case conferences and planning meetings.
- Supervise and mentor psychology interns or practicum students; contribute to clinical training programs.
- Engage in program development, quality improvement, and treatment protocol optimization to enhance patient care and access.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with HIPAA and professional standards.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in New York or eligibility and plan to obtain licensure within the standard timeline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of post-licensure experience in outpatient clinical settings.
- Expertise in evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT, IPT) and proficiency with psychological testing and assessments.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and diagnostic skills; ability to work with diverse populations.
- Research experience and comfort with outcomes measurement; familiarity with DSM-5-TR.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, clinical documentation, and HIPAA compliance; ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings or weekend hours as needed.
