Responsibility
- Provide safe and accurate dispensing of medications following all regulatory standards and quality controls.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosing, potential interactions, side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Perform comprehensive medication reviews and MTM to optimize therapy and outcomes.
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness; supervise and train pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve therapy-related issues and optimize regimens.
- Participate in immunization programs and support public health initiatives where permitted.
- Maintain accurate documentation, inventory control, and adherence to all compliance policies.
Qualification
- Massachusetts Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure in MA (Jurisprudence/MPJE as required).
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program.
- 2+ years clinical pharmacy experience preferred; residency or fellowship a plus.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, dosing, drug interactions, and safety monitoring.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and patient education skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and prescription processing; comfort with tech-enabled workflows.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
