MetroCare Health Network is seeking a results-driven Hospital Administrator to lead day-to-day operations across our urban hospital campus. This role ensures safe, efficient, patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, and financial health in a fast-paced environment.
As Hospital Administrator, you will partner with clinical leaders, department heads, and the executive team to optimize workflows, improve patient experience, and drive performance improvements. Responsibility
- Oversee hospital operations, including patient flow, workforce planning, facilities management, and supply chain logistics to ensure safe, timely care.
- Lead regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, quality improvement programs, risk management, and safety initiatives across all departments.
- Develop and monitor annual operating budgets, revenue cycle processes, and financial performance metrics to drive sustainable profitability.
- Collaborate with medical leadership to implement clinical pathways, standard of care protocols, and performance improvement projects.
- Drive patient experience and service excellence through staffing, training, and patient-centered process redesign.
- Manage talent development, recruitment, retention, performance management, and succession planning for a high-performing team.
- Ensure data-driven decision making using KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to inform strategy and daily operations.
- Lead emergency preparedness, incident response, and risk mitigation initiatives to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of healthcare operations or hospital administration leadership experience.
- Proven track record in budgeting, revenue cycle management, cost control, and financial stewardship.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations (CMS, Joint Commission, HIPAA) and quality/safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and change management skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, performance improvement, and reporting.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare IT platforms.
