We are seeking a Licensed Midwife (CNM) to provide full-spectrum prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Responsibility
- Provide evidence-based prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to diverse client families.
- Support natural and medically appropriate birth plans, including labor coaching and pain management options.
- Monitor maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate, progression of labor, and intervene as needed.
- Develop individualized birth plans and provide continuous support during labor and birth.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatology, and other health professionals to ensure safe outcomes.
- Educate families on breastfeeding, newborn care, family planning, and postnatal recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records and ensure privacy compliance.
- Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Active and unrestricted CNM license in Oregon or eligibility for licensure in Oregon.
- Master's degree in Nursing (or equivalent) with CNM certification; valid state licensure.
- Minimum 2-3 years of midwifery experience with low- and high-risk pregnancies.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and collaboration skills for family-centered care.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, cultural humility, and patient advocacy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and participate in on-call rotations.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and data privacy standards.
