Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for adults and adolescents.
- Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy using modalities such as CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic approaches.
- Develop, monitor, and update individualized treatment plans; track progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and researchers, to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
- Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation and secure electronic health records.
- Participate in ongoing research projects; assist with data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.
- Engage in supervision and mentorship of psychology interns and junior clinicians as needed.
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and families and respond to crises with appropriate interventions.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or PsyD) from an accredited program and eligible for licensure in Texas; current Texas psychologist license preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health settings; experience with diverse populations a plus.
- Proven expertise in psychological testing and the use of standardized instruments for assessment.
- Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT) and a patient-centered therapy approach.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills; ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) and data management; knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
- Research orientation with experience in data analysis (SPSS/R) and participation in clinical studies is desirable.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
