Responsibility
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and electrotherapy as indicated
- Monitor patient progress, document treatment plans and outcomes, and adjust care accordingly
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and activity modification
- Collaborate with physicians, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes
- Coordinate scheduling, triage new referrals, and manage caseload efficiently
- Participate in clinic quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
Qualification
- Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) or equivalent provincial regulatory body
- Doctor of Physical Therapy or Bachelor of Physiotherapy from an accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient physiotherapy experience
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice, manual therapy, and rehabilitation principles
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patient education skills
- Proficiency in documenting with electronic medical record systems and outcome measures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage a diverse caseload
