Join AeroNova Flight Services as a Commercial Pilot, operating modern jet aircraft from our Dallas base. This is a high-visibility role requiring technical excellence, leadership, and a passion for safe, efficient flight operations.
As a Pilot in Command on assigned routes, you will deliver outstanding service while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. You will collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and cabin crew to uphold the highest levels of flight safety and operational reliability.
Responsibility
- Operate as Pilot-in-Command on assigned flights in accordance with FAA regulations and company SOPs.
- Conduct rigorous flight planning, performance analysis, fuel planning, weight and balance checks, and risk assessment.
- Ensure pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety protocols are followed; monitor weather and operational constraints.
- Lead crew communications, CRM, and targeted safety briefings with the flight team.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground support to guarantee aircraft readiness and on-time operations.
- Maintain currency, annual training, and type-rating requirements; participate in simulator sessions as needed.
- Document flight logs accurately and complete regulatory reporting in a timely manner.
Qualification
- Active FAA ATP or ATPL license; current FAA first-class medical certificate.
- 3,000+ total flight hours preferred, including substantial multi-engine and PIC experience.
- Type rating on applicable jet or willingness to obtain; strong IFR and instrument proficiency.
- Excellent knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation safety, and flight operations planning.
- Proven leadership, communication, and CRM skills; ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to relocate to Dallas or travel as required; U.S. work authorized.
- Proficient in aviation data systems, flight planning software, and record-keeping.
