Responsibility
- Develop, execute, and monitor mid- to long-term corporate strategies in partnership with management and Japan HQ.
- Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within the organization.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Oversee performance management frameworks and identify areas for business process improvement.
- Facilitate communications between local and Japan HQ, ensuring alignment of objectives and key results.
- Prepare executive presentations, reports, and proposals to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and guide a small team to ensure effective project execution and compliance with company policies.
- Support M&A, business development, and other ad-hoc regional projects as required.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate planning, business strategy, or financial management roles.
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English (verbal and written) is essential to liaise with local and Japan-based stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of the F&B or retail industry preferred.
- Proven analytical skills and ability to interpret financial statements.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated competence in cross-cultural communication.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent organizational and presentation abilities.
