Responsibility

  • Develop, execute, and monitor mid- to long-term corporate strategies in partnership with management and Japan HQ.
  • Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes within the organization.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee performance management frameworks and identify areas for business process improvement.
  • Facilitate communications between local and Japan HQ, ensuring alignment of objectives and key results.
  • Prepare executive presentations, reports, and proposals to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and guide a small team to ensure effective project execution and compliance with company policies.
  • Support M&A, business development, and other ad-hoc regional projects as required.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate planning, business strategy, or financial management roles.
  • Proficiency in both Japanese and English (verbal and written) is essential to liaise with local and Japan-based stakeholders.
