Responsibility
- Coordinate and arrange import/export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Liaise with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to facilitate shipment processes and resolve operational issues.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to clients on delivery progress and any potential delays.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide quotations, and offer timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Update and maintain accurate records within freight management systems and internal databases.
- Support internal teams with ad-hoc administrative tasks related to freight forwarding operations.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve workflow processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualification
- Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service (fresh graduates with relevant internships welcome).
- Proficiency in shipment documentation and international freight regulations is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and logistics software or ERP systems.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an added advantage.
