Tien Hsia Language School Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Customer Service Officer to join our team at our Marine Parade branch. As our Customer Service Officer, you will manage enrolment and registration, respond to customer enquiries, and provide ongoing support to students and parents. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient administrative operations, handling daily documentation, and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who interacts with our school. Responsibility
- Manage and process student enrolment and registration applications efficiently.
- Respond to walk-in, phone, and email enquiries from customers, providing timely and accurate information on courses, schedules, and policies.
- Maintain and update student records and documentation in the school’s management system.
- Handle general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Assist in coordinating parent–teacher communications and arrange meetings as required.
- Proactively follow up with existing and prospective customers to ensure satisfaction and promote enrolment.
- Support the school team in managing daily operations and special events.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming front desk reception area.
Qualification
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; diploma in administration or related field is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or front desk reception, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Mandarin will be advantageous to liaise with local parents.
