Responsibility
- Develop and manage end-to-end logistics plans for military supply chains, including procurement, storage, and transportation.
- Coordinate with base operations, contractors, and vendors to ensure on-time readiness.
- Analyze inventory levels, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels to reduce waste and cost.
- Prepare and present reports on performance metrics, risk, and compliance with DoD regulations.
- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives for logistics processes.
- Ensure safety, security, and privacy of sensitive data and restricted materials.
- Assist with contingency planning and rapid deployment support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement standard operating procedures.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of defense or government logistics experience.
- Knowledge of DoD regulations, security requirements, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with precision in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment; willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
- U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance; active clearance preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
