Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver defense programs on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and lifecycle documentation.
- Ensure compliance with DoD standards, security controls, and information assurance requirements.
- Identify, track, and mitigate program risks; manage issues and change requests.
- Coordinate with military customers, vendors, and partners; prepare executive status reports.
- Monitor performance metrics and deliverables; drive continuous improvement.
- Support business development and proposal activities as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems, IT, or related field; master's preferred.
- 8+ years of program management experience in defense or national security contexts.
- Experience with DoD procurement, contracting, and security clearance processes (SECRET or higher preferred).
- PMP or equivalent certification; strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with military operations, C4ISR systems, and the defense acquisition lifecycle.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) and reporting dashboards.
- Ability to travel as needed and work onsite in Arlington, VA or on military installations as required.
