Responsibility
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries to customers and business partners within Metro Manila and nearby areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report any safety or maintenance issues promptly.
- Plan efficient delivery routes with Dispatch, ensuring on-time arrivals and optimal route utilization.
- Accurately complete delivery documentation, obtain signatures, and manage cash-on-delivery if applicable.
- Load and secure packages properly, inspect shipments for accuracy, and handle goods with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel logs, and routine maintenance records; report issues as needed.
- Provide courteous customer service, address inquiries, and escalate complex issues to the supervisor.
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures; contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
Qualification
- Valid Philippine driver's license with the appropriate class for light vehicles.
- 1-2 years of delivery driving experience in Metro Manila or comparable urban settings.
- Excellent knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and route planning skills.
- Strong communication and customer-service abilities; ability to work with dispatch and customers.
- Basic paperwork and administrative skills (delivery receipts, signatures, COD handling).
- Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 25 kg (55 lbs) as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with a professional attitude.
- Proficiency with mobile devices, GPS apps, and simple fleet software.
