As a Delivery Driver, you will be an essential part of our logistics operations, ensuring goods are transported safely, delivered on time, and documented accurately. You will work closely with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to maintain high standards of service and safety. Responsibility
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to customers and warehouses within scheduled timelines in Penampang and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report any mechanical issues, and maintain a clean, presentable vehicle.
- Plan efficient routes using approved navigation tools; adapt to changing conditions to meet delivery windows.
- Verify shipments, complete delivery confirmations, and obtain customer signatures; document discrepancies as needed.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety policies, and load securement standards to ensure safe and compliant transport.
- Assist with loading and unloading when required; perform basic inventory checks and maintain delivery logs.
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers and coordinate with dispatch for smooth operations.
Qualification
- Valid Malaysian driving license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in delivery or logistics is preferred.
- Familiarity with Sabah roads and Penampang area is a plus.
- Strong time management, route planning, and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move items up to 25 kg and perform light loading/unloading.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and proactive safety mindset.
