Responsibility

  • Develop and execute destination marketing campaigns to attract international and domestic visitors to Cape Town and adjacent regions.
  • Coordinate partnerships with local tour operators, hotels, and attractions to create compelling bundled experiences.
  • Manage content creation across the website, blog, email, and social media with a focus on storytelling and SEO best practices.
  • Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools; report insights and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Plan and support events, familiarization trips, and influencer partnerships to raise destination awareness.
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to align marketing with available tours and packages.
  • Maintain brand consistency and quality across all channels while adhering to budget and compliance standards.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Tourism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years in destination marketing, tourism, or hospitality, preferably in Southern Africa.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven experience with digital marketing, SEO, content creation, and social media strategy.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social insights) and data-driven decision making.
