We are seeking a results-driven Tourism Marketing Specialist to drive growth, curate compelling travel experiences, and strengthen our brand in a competitive market.
You will collaborate with product teams, partner with local operators, and deploy data-driven campaigns across channels to boost awareness, bookings, and guest satisfaction.
Responsibility
- Lead strategy and execution of omnichannel marketing campaigns to attract inbound travelers to Barcelona and Catalonia.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to align travel experiences with market demand and seasonal trends.
- Develop engaging content and experiences that showcase local culture, cuisine, and attractions.
- Manage partnerships with hotels, tour operators, and local vendors to maximize visibility and bookings.
- Analyze campaign performance with dashboards and reporting, identifying optimization opportunities and ROI improvements.
- Oversee budget planning, media buying, and vendor negotiations to achieve targets.
- Ensure high-quality guest journeys from inquiry to post-trip feedback, driving repeat bookings and referrals.
- Stay ahead of tourism trends and competitor activity to maintain a premium brand position.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in tourism marketing, destination management, or travel experiences.
- Proven track record with digital marketing channels, CRM, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and content marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and A/B testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; fluency in Spanish or Catalan preferred.
- Project management capabilities with cross-functional collaboration and vendor management experience.
- Creative storyteller with the ability to craft compelling itineraries and experiences for diverse audiences.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
