BrightPath Foundation is seeking a dynamic Development Director to lead fundraising and donor engagement for our community-driven initiatives in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibility

- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan aligned with the organization's strategic priorities. \n
- Manage donor portfolios, steward relationships, and solicit major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations. \n
- Write and coordinate grant proposals and reports in collaboration with program staff. \n
- Plan and execute donor events, campaigns, and stewardship communications to enhance donor retention. \n
- Oversee fundraising metrics, dashboards, and annual budget for development activities. \n
- Lead a small development team or coordinate with volunteers and interns. \n
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and maintain accurate data in the donor CRM. \n
- Collaborate with marketing and programs to articulate impact and tell compelling stories. \n
Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field. Master's preferred. \n
- 3-5+ years of fundraising experience in a nonprofit setting with measurable results. \n
- Proven ability to secure major gifts and grants from individuals, foundations, and corporations. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills. \n
- Experience with donor CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and basic data analysis. \n
- Excellent project management, planning, and event coordination abilities. \n
- Collaborative, mission-driven, and committed to DEI principles. \n
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. \n
