We are seeking a proactive Development Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives and strengthen relationships with donors and partners. What you’ll do: You will report to the Director of Development and work cross-functionally with programs, communications, and finance to advance our mission.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement the annual fundraising strategy to diversify revenue streams, including major gifts, grants, events, and digital campaigns.
- Manage donor relations and stewardship, ensuring timely acknowledgments, impact reporting, and ongoing engagement.
- Lead grant research, writing, and reporting for foundation and corporate sponsors.
- Oversee CRM data integrity, pipelines, and fundraising analytics to inform strategy.
- Plan and execute fundraising events and virtual campaigns that elevate visibility and donor participation.
- Collaborate with program teams to measure outcomes and translate impact into compelling fundraising materials.
- Coach and mentor junior staff and volunteers, fostering a high-performing development team.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, public administration, communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years in fundraising, development, or donor relations, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Proven track record securing six- and seven-figure gifts and grants.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, grant writing, and donor storytelling skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven fundraising practices.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
