Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet annual revenue goals.
- Lead major gift and donor relations programs, including stewardship and recognition.
- Plan and oversee grant writing and foundation proposals.
- Manage the fundraising team, set performance metrics, and cultivate cross-department collaboration.
- Oversee events, campaigns, and digital fundraising initiatives.
- Partner with the Executive Director to create programs and messaging that align with organizational strategy.
- Track metrics, analyze data, and report outcomes to the board and stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, public administration, communications, or related field; master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of fundraising experience in a nonprofit environment; demonstrated success with annual campaigns and donor cultivation.
- Proven ability to secure major gifts and foundation grants; knowledge of grant research and proposal writing.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of compelling storytelling for diverse audiences.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or Donation Management platforms) and data-informed decision making.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in nonprofit fundraising and program delivery.
