GreenFuture Foundation is seeking a driven Development Manager to lead donor engagement and fundraising initiatives that advance our mission to protect urban green spaces. In this role, you will collaborate with programs, finance, and communications teams to design compelling campaigns, steward ongoing donor relationships, and secure sustainable revenue to expand impact.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive donor relations strategy to grow individual, donor-advised fund, and institutional giving.
- Plan, manage, and report on annual fundraising campaigns, digital appeals, grants, and events.
- Maintain and optimize the donor CRM, track engagement metrics, and generate accurate reporting for leadership.
- Collaborate with program staff to capture impact stories and craft persuasive proposals and grant reports.
- Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities with foundations, corporations, and major donors.
- Manage a growing portfolio of donors, ensuring timely acknowledgments and ongoing stewardship communications.
- Coordinate donor events and experiences that deepen engagement and retention.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with restricted funding requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, public policy, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of fundraising or development experience in a nonprofit setting.
- Proven track record of securing gifts from individuals and foundations.
- Strong written and verbal communication; excellent storytelling and proposal writing skills.
- Experience with donor CRM systems and data analysis; comfort with analytics and dashboards.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Collaborative, mission-driven, and able to work across departments and with volunteers.
- Knowledge of grant compliance and reporting requirements is a plus.
