ImpactForward Foundation is a mission driven nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to education and essential community services. We are seeking a results oriented Development Manager to lead fundraising strategy, donor stewardship, and grant programs in the New York area. As Development Manager, you will partner with program teams, finance, and communications to design compelling campaigns, build lasting donor relationships, and ensure financial sustainability for high impact initiatives. Responsibility
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet annual revenue goals.
- Lead donor stewardship programs including major gifts, annual fund, and grant support.
- Oversee grant research, writing, and reporting to foundations and corporate sponsors.
- Collaborate with programs and finance teams to develop budgets and track impact metrics.
- Plan and execute donor events, campaigns, and community engagement initiatives.
- Build and nurture a diverse donor pipeline and manage prospect research.
- Manage CRM data integrity, reporting dashboards, and donor communications.
- Supervise staff or contractors and coordinate cross functional fundraising efforts.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, or related field
- 3+ years of fundraising experience with a track record of successful campaigns
- Strong grant writing and donor stewardship skills with demonstrated outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities
- Experience with CRM systems and fundraising analytics
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse teams
- Knowledge of grant reporting requirements and budget oversight
