Responsibility
- Assist geoscience teams in collecting, organizing, and analyzing geological and geophysical data to support well planning and reservoir evaluation.
- Support seismic interpretation and petrophysical data integration under supervision, using industry standard software.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations of findings for mentors and project teams.
- Participate in rotations across geoscience disciplines to gain broad exposure to exploration and development processes.
- Contribute to data management, QA/QC, and documentation to ensure data governance and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate geoscience insights into actionable decisions for projects.
- Develop professional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through mentorship and structured feedback.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in geoscience, geology, petroleum geoscience, or a closely related field; or nearing graduation.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for learning and problem solving.
- Familiarity with geoscience software (Petrel, seismic interpretation tools) and basic data analytics (Excel; Python or R is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to present ideas clearly and concisely.
- Collaborative, proactive team player with the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate or work in Kuala Lumpur; eligibility to participate in the traineeship program as per company policy.
