Responsibility
- Oversee implementation of environmental policies and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct and supervise environmental impact assessments for ongoing and new projects.
- Lead sustainability programs and drive continuous improvement across company operations.
- Prepare technical reports, mitigation strategies, and audit responses.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Develop and deliver staff training on eco-friendly practices.
- Manage and mentor junior environmental professionals within the team.
- Monitor and report on key environmental performance indicators.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of environmental management experience in industrial, construction, or consulting environments.
- Thorough knowledge of EPA regulations and ISO 14001 standards.
- Proven project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; GIS or environmental modeling tools a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CHMM, REM, CEP) preferred.
