Join Aurora Environmental Solutions, a leader in environmental management and sustainability, as our next Environmental Manager in Seattle, WA. You will steward corporate environmental programs, drive regulatory compliance, and champion innovative solutions that minimize risk and maximize value.
In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to implement pollution prevention, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water stewardship initiatives while maintaining rigorous ESG reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibility
- Lead the development and execution of environmental management programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee permitting, reporting, and compliance activities across facilities and projects in the Northwest region.
- Drive ESG data collection, metrics tracking, and transparent reporting to executives and external stakeholders.
- Champion sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water stewardship.
- Conduct risk assessments and environmental impact analyses to inform business decisions.
- Coordinate with operations, safety, and facilities teams to embed a culture of environmental excellence.
- Manage audits, regulatory inspections, and corrective action plans with a focus on continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in environmental management, regulatory compliance, or ESG reporting.
- Strong knowledge of EPA, state and local environmental regulations; experience with permitting processes.
- Proven track record in data analytics, KPI development, and sustainability reporting (GRI, SASB, or equivalent).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certifications such as CEM, ENV SP, or PE are a plus.
