Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental compliance programs to meet local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage permitting, emissions reporting, spill prevention, and environmental impact assessments across sites.
- Lead site environmental audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
- Coordinate training, drills, emergency response planning, and contractor oversight for EHS programs.
- Oversee waste management, recycling initiatives, hazardous materials handling, and sustainable procurement practices.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, data collection, and performance reporting for ESG, including KPIs and executive dashboards.
- Collaborate with operations, legal, and external regulators to ensure timely compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental management, EHS, or regulatory compliance in an industrial or corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, state environmental programs, permitting processes, and reporting requirements.
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization; experience with EHS software, SAP/ERP, and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Professional certifications such as CEHS, ASP, CHMM or equivalent are preferred.
