BlueEarth Environmental Solutions is seeking a seasoned Environmental Manager to lead our environmental stewardship and compliance programs in the Pacific Northwest. This full-time role combines strategy, hands-on implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to advance sustainable operations for our clients. You will design and manage the Environmental Management System (EMS), oversee regulatory compliance, and drive data-driven sustainability initiatives that reduce risk and improve performance.

Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001 standards.
- Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations; manage permits, reporting, and audits.
- Develop and track environmental performance metrics, prepare sustainability reports, and communicate progress to leadership and clients.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments and implement corrective actions across operations and supply chains.
- Plan and execute training programs for staff on EHS policies, procedures, and incident response.
- Manage budgets related to environmental programs and drive cost-effective waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, response actions, and improvement initiatives; facilitate supplier and contractor compliance.
- Engage with stakeholders, regulators, and community partners to advance corporate environmental goals.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, EHS, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of environmental management or EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or consultancy settings.
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and local permitting; ISO 14001 awareness; ISO 14001 Lead Auditor is a plus.
- Experience leading EMS development, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills; proficient in Excel, data systems, and reporting tools.
- Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to influence across functions and with regulators; strong project management capabilities.
- Professional certifications such as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, CEP, or CEA are highly regarded.
- Ability to travel up to 15% as needed.
