GreenPath Environmental Solutions is seeking a results-driven Environmental Manager to lead our regional environmental programs in the Seattle area. This role combines regulatory compliance, sustainability strategy, and hands-on project leadership to protect air, water, soil, and community health.
In this role you will partner with facilities, operations, and corporate ESG teams to drive continuous improvement, manage permits, and deliver measurable environmental performance. You will have the opportunity to shape strategy, implement an effective EMS, and contribute to ambitious sustainability goals.
Responsibility
- Lead development and execution of an ISO 14001–based Environmental Management System across multiple facilities in the region.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations; manage regulatory submissions and deadlines.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments, audits, and third-party inspections; track corrective actions to closure.
- Oversee spill prevention planning, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and emergency response coordination.
- Drive waste management, water conservation, energy efficiency, and pollution prevention programs with clear KPIs.
- Produce and present environmental performance metrics for leadership and ESG reporting; support external disclosures (GRI, SASB/ISSB).
- Collaborate with facilities, operations, supply chain, and HSE teams to embed sustainable practices into daily operations.
- Lead training and awareness programs to ensure policy compliance and environmental stewardship across the organization.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental management and regulatory compliance within an industrial or corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations (EPA, Washington State Department of Ecology) and permit management.
- Experience implementing EMS programs, ISO 14001 and internal auditing; familiarity with GHG inventory and ESG reporting.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data management, metrics tracking, and environmental software or EHS platforms (e.g., Enablon, Sphera) or advanced Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Certifications such as CEP, CSP, or CEM are a plus; willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and influence across teams in a fast-paced environment.
