We are seeking a proactive Environmental Manager to drive regulatory compliance, emissions reduction, and stakeholder engagement for our regional program in Seattle, WA. Responsibility
- Develop and implement environmental strategies, policies, and programs to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple sites in the region.
- Lead environmental risk assessments, audits, and permit renewals; track corrective actions and timelines.
- Monitor and report emissions, waste, water quality, and other key environmental metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with operations, HSE, supply chain, and external regulators to ensure timely inspections and reporting.
- Manage environmental training, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder communications.
- Oversee incident investigations and root-cause analysis for environmental events.
- Prepare and present sustainability disclosures and performance metrics to leadership and investors.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; master's preferred.
- 5+ years in environmental management, regulatory compliance, or EHS roles in industry or consulting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations including air, water, waste, and permitting requirements.
- Experience with environmental data analytics, reporting tools, and sustainability frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP, etc.).
- Excellent project management, organizational, and negotiation skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to leadership, regulators, and internal teams.
- Professional certification such as CEnv, ENV SP, or QEP is a plus.
