TerraCore Environmental Solutions is seeking a results-driven Environmental Manager to lead our environmental program across multiple client projects in the Pacific Northwest. This role combines regulatory compliance, ESG strategy, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable operations. You will partner with operations, safety, and site leadership to implement practical environmental controls, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage the environmental compliance program across facilities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop and implement ESG strategies, metrics, and reporting aligned with client needs and leading practices.
- Coordinate air, water, waste, and hazardous materials permits; manage permit renewals and emissions inventories.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action plans; oversee remediation projects as needed.
- Monitor environmental performance data; produce regular reports to leadership and clients; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Engage with stakeholders, policymakers, and community groups to communicate environmental programs and outcomes.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and project timelines for environmental initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, or EHS management.
- Strong knowledge of EPA, state and local environmental regulations; familiarity with ISO 14001 preferred.
- Experience with air and water permits, waste management, and hazardous materials handling.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to diverse audiences.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CEM, CSP, LEED) are a plus.
