We’re seeking a hands-on Environmental Manager to lead program development, audits, and stakeholder collaboration for a portfolio of industrial and commercial clients in the Pacific Northwest.

This role blends strategic leadership with day-to-day program management, delivering measurable environmental performance improvements while fostering a culture of stewardship and compliance.

Responsibility

  • Lead the development and implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) in line with ISO 14001 standards.
  • Coordinate environmental permitting, reporting, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage environmental audits, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
  • Oversee data collection and analysis for air, water, waste, and soil compliance metrics and prepare executive dashboards.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and procurement to minimize environmental footprint and drive sustainable practices.
  • Champion EHS training programs and internal communications to build a culture of accountability.
  • Lead risk assessments and develop mitigations for environmental liabilities across projects.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years in environmental management, compliance, or sustainability within industrial or infrastructure settings.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and state-specific regulations.
  • Proven experience with environmental data analytics, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Professional certifications such as CEM, CEA, or PE are a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time within the Pacific Northwest.
