Responsibility
- Lead environmental compliance programs across projects ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
- Develop and manage environmental management plans and permits for new and existing operations
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement timely updates to procedures
- Conduct environmental risk assessments and coordinate incident investigations and corrective actions
- Manage data collection, reporting, and audits including air, water, and waste compliance
- Lead training and engage stakeholders across operations to advance sustainability initiatives
- Collaborate with facilities engineering and supply chain to implement mitigations and efficiency measures
- Oversee ISO 14001 alignment and continual improvement programs
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in environmental science engineering or related field; graduate degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of environmental management or EHS experience with regulatory exposure
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations EPA OSHA state DEP and local permits
- Experience with environmental data management reporting software and GIS
- Excellent communication project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead audits investigations and root cause analysis
- Professional certifications such as CEM CPSWQ or PE are preferred
- Willingness to travel as needed
