Job description

EcoSphere Global is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead our environmental stewardship programs across Seattle operations. You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while driving sustainable improvements that reduce risk and support business growth.

As a key member of our EHS team, you will partner with operations, facilities, and compliance teams to implement robust environmental programs, manage audits, and advance data driven sustainability initiatives. Responsibility

  • Lead the design and execution of comprehensive environmental management programs covering air emissions, water quality, waste, and site remediation.
  • Manage regulatory permitting, reporting, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Oversee environmental data collection, monitoring, trend analysis, and KPI reporting to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate internal and external environmental audits, corrective action plans, and regulatory inspections.
  • Develop training programs to raise awareness and competency across site personnel on environmental practices.
  • Drive waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation initiatives with cross functional teams.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with operations, facilities, and procurement to integrate sustainability into business processes and capital projects.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in environmental management or EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and local environmental regulations.
  • Proven track record in regulatory reporting, permits management, and audits.
  • Data driven mindset with experience using environmental management systems and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Travel up to occasional site visits and training sessions as needed.
