As an Environmental Program Manager, you will oversee project portfolios, coordinate cross-functional teams, and partner with clients to design and implement practical, cost-effective environmental solutions.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage environmental program lifecycle from scoping to execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Develop and track KPIs for waste, water, energy, emissions, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with operations, EH&S, legal, and finance to ensure alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
- Prepare risk assessments, audit readiness plans, and corrective action strategies.
- Manage client relationships and present program status, risks, and ROI to executives.
- Design training and awareness campaigns to promote best practices across sites.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining compliance and performance.
- Lead vendor and contractor management for environmental services and remediation projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; Masterβs preferred.
- 5+ years in environmental management, sustainability, or EH&S programs with progressive responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of US environmental regulations (NEPA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act).
- Experience with environmental data analytics, reporting, and ESG frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Project management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP) or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% and work across multiple sites.
- Proficiency in MS Office, data visualization tools, and environmental management systems.
