GreenHorizon Environmental is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead sustainability and compliance initiatives for a diverse client base in the Pacific Northwest. Responsibility
- Lead multi-disciplinary environmental projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
- Manage regulatory permitting, reporting, and compliance with EPA, state, and local agencies.
- Develop and implement environmental management systems (EMS) and sustainability programs aligned with ISO 14001 standards.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments, data collection, performance monitoring, and corrective action planning.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement with clients, regulators, communities, and internal teams.
- Prepare technical proposals, budgets, and progress reports for executive leadership and clients.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental management, permitting, and compliance within industry or consulting.
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, RCRA/EPCRA, NEPA/CEQA, and environmental reporting.
- Experience developing and implementing EMS (ISO 14001) and sustainability programs.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills; PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities with a client-facing mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 20% and work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
