We are seeking a results-driven Event Manager who can lead complex productions from concept through execution with meticulous attention to detail and a guest-first mindset.
In this role, you will partner with clients, marketers, venues, and vendors to design unforgettable events that align with strategic goals, elevate brand presence, and maximize ROI. You will manage multi-million-dollar budgets, negotiate contracts, and supervise on-site teams to ensure flawless delivery.
What you’ll do:
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end event production from concept through post-event debrief, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and design teams to translate briefs into compelling event experiences.
- Oversee venue selection, AV, decor, catering, registration, and on-site operations, including staffing and run-of-show.
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement, contracts, and payments while ensuring compliance and quality.
- Lead on-site management, safety, permits, insurance, and crisis response; ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Analyze post-event metrics, compile ROI reports, and capture insights to drive continuous improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in event management, preferably with corporate or large-scale conferences.
- Proven ability to manage multi-phase budgets, negotiate with vendors, and deliver on time and on budget.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, vendor coordination, and on-site execution capabilities.
- Proficiency with event management software, registration platforms, CRM, and MS Office; familiarity with AV tech and production workflows.
- Willingness to travel as required and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during events.
